Hail [EL]!

Long time no speak

[TSF] and the [007] Clan are in the process of forming a 3v3 team-based event and we're putting the word out now trying to gauge interest:

For a long time now, we have become very disheartened in our attempts to play matches in the so-called leagues and have found that the OFF-League, CU and more recently UP-League is a place where over-competitive "pro" style of gaming is regarded as more important than how we play the game: gentlemenly and tongue-in-cheek - we want a fun-game with fellow-minded players.

I know from experience that the one and only fun game we had in all those league matches was against [EL] and it would greatly please me if we get an indication that you'd like to be involved!

The current plan is to run a world-cup style play-off Clan cup initially (hopefully with a prize for winning!) that will be predominantly Killbox orientated, although small-fast playing reg-maps with be considered, in a Friendly-fire off, Spawn Protection On environment. It will be no-RPG unless both teams agree to it.

The plan is that the Clan Cup will have proved that its workable and a subsequent league will follow.

In addition, so-called pro clans and pro-clan maps will not be admitted, and indeed unknown/unheard-of Clans applying to join will have to play a friendly with the Cup admins to prove they play in our friendly-manner.

We are in the process of finalising the guidelines and rules and will be publishing a web site and advertising it later this week.

So far we have the initial agreement of [TSF],[007], [S-UK],TSGK,[DOH] and [BCC] and would love to add your name to list of clans that will submit Team[s].

That sounds like a real good plan.
I think our HL2DM players would be pleased to be part of the hole thing.

we had the same experience with all those leagues. all participants
try to be the best and forget to have fun at playing. there was never
a lot of fun to those league matches like i know it from other clanwars
and fights. except the match versus [TSF] i remember a nice 1 clanfight
like i love it. with lots of lolz and great kills.

the plans for the cup sounds good to me. nice that you try to start it like
it should be. fun dedicated and friendly. i will talk to our other hl2dm players
and hope that i can give you a "we are in" in the next few days. i really want
to play. so i hope that i can get some more [el] players motivated.
